Cliff, it would be great to see an analysis comparing the 8/17/24 event with the 9/7/19 event - how many total strikes: how many strikes per hour; atmospheric variables: etc. Also it would be good to see a comparison of Saturdays’s storms and Sunday’s. Seems like the atmosphere Saturday was more conducive to strikes and rain, and the atmosphere Sunday was more conducive to wind and hail (probably dry air aloft and moist air only in the lower atmosphere. A nice and rare two day event here!
